Thank you very much brohemion!

Pretty nifty

I WANT THAT DAMN TONE! xD

Heh, anyways. I like the direction your heading in with the Djent style. The riffs were soothing and kick ass at the same time. Also, you ended the song quite perfectly, i may say.

However, the cons in my opinion. The melody just seemed a tad bit repetative, I was interested but not enough to put the score up to a ten. I'd recommend more "technical" riffs, i think they would enhance the power of this song. If you haven't heard this band, go listen to After the Burial, that is a band im pretty sure you could get some cool ideas and influence off of, as well as some bands like Volumes or Rooks. I like the direction you're going and i cant wait to hear more!

Hey man, thanks for the review!

Haha thank-you very much! I'm glad you liked the ending! :D

I get what you mean about the melody, and looking back over the 'nicer' songs that I've done, that chord progression is kind of a reocurring theme that needs to be changed! >.< I actually ordered ATB's new album the other day, should be coming for me soon!
I know Volumes but I shall check out Rooks!

Thanks again man, and I just found your PM so I'll go check out your new song now!

Sick sick sick

Vocals remind me alot of Chelsea Grin. :3
Pretty nifty riffs and breakdowns.

I tried to raise your score, but as you may know, the newgrounds audio portal is filled to the brim with "techno crazed fucksticks." The big reason why several great artists don't submit tunes here anymore.

Anywho,

BloodGauntlet responds:

thank you :P Great to see people enjoying the old music haha

It's alright

I think the song could use more guitar and a bit less synth. Some parts where there were synth, i think would've worked better if it was guitar instead. Especially in the beginning and during the chorus-ish riff played throughout the song.

Don't get me wrong though, this is a nice tune. The ending with the leads was what bumps the score i wanted to give you from a 3 to a 4. i think the overall song could use a bit more though, like guitar leads during the chorus-ish riff that match the synths, and a bit more technicality on the guitar.

Well that's my opinion. I'll be sure to look into your future works.

350teric responds:

Well, you got the opinion part right! As for the technicality it is as TECHINCAL AS IT CAN GET (try to play regular six string with a floating trem tuned down to A# and then tell me what kind of technique it requiers to keep the strings form wobbling)! The lack of speed playing doesn't mean less technique quite the opposite, this song has more on the composition side. And 99% of the composers wold have used effected guitars instead of synths, but I'm part of that other 1%! :)

Thank for listening do, come by to check some other stuff, I got plenty of that prog. technical 100% guitar composed metal!

Outstanding

We need to do some collaberative stuff. PM me to layout a plan if you're interested.

woah :D thank you man...your the first to fav = P i think haha. hope to read some more reviews from you = )

Damn man

If these are old as hell songs...I'd like to see what kind of shit you can put out now.

Heh. Pretty sick. As said below, the mix could be worked on a bit, making the guitars a bit more prominent. Other than that though...great work. I absolutely loved the breakdown halfway through the song!

Thank-you! It shall be huge!

technically

The album is "Eyes Sewn Open EP" by my band / side group project With Man Comes Massacre :P but anyways, lol.

The vocals are pretty good, but i kinda feel that the lyrics are out of place, like they don't fit with the genre of the music (metalcore). It be perfect for deathcore or death metal or something along the lines of that, but not so much with more melodic tunes like this one.

TheBardOfBlasphemy responds:

ah crap! sorry about the confusion, will fix that right away :P

as for the lyrics... hehe... yeah i can understand the p.o.v. your putting forth. Taken literally they're nothing but a gore-fest but the lyrics were actually written as a metaphor. They're intended to represent the stripping of power away from major record companies by people like you - who are making music without the need for a label or any b.s. associated with those corporations - and by the countless people freely sharing music.

haha, they're still pretty full on, though... i wouldn't have it any other way \m/
